God is There

God is There

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

He will guide you.

"

A distant cry
Such wounded knee
A searching soul
It's breaking me

A fading voice
Such broken heart
A shattered dream
Tears me apart

I'm not surprised
To hear that call
That distant cry
Your broken soul

Such aching days
Can you forget?
How would you live
Without regret?

You have to start
It's not the end
Move on and live
Forgive to mend

New hope is there
Just let it be
You will succeed
Go and you'll see

Forget the past
It's hard to do
But God is there
He'll guide you through.

Indeed it can be hard to just forgive and forget especially when you are one that has been wronged, however, anger and resentment can fester and lead us to become bitter and twisted in outlook, so yes, it is better to leave the past there and move on in life!

A fine, spiritual guide, open your heart and let faith redeem your soul, splendidly worded Dhaye !

Very inspirational piece. Tough times could sometimes lead us to question if God ever listen.

Very nice, Dhaye, a different format from what we've seen from you recently, but it was very tightly crafted and beautiful.

You are very welcome
if we believe, there is redemption...there is the light, and we eventually find our way towards it...

even when it seems there is no hope.
