my new circle

And I stand among them
They are all smiling at me
Their hands are widely open
Their heart, I could really see

The tallest of them all is he
I call him the rain, sweet to my ear
His words are soothing and always kind
He's my favorite, he's so dear

Standing next to rain is he
The bird who always fly
Spread his wings to scatter seeds
To achieve that goal, he'll always try

Next to the bird is an angel
There I see her smile for me
The words she say are always true
She knows everything, she knows when I'm free

There he stand, a faceless being
He's always neutral, he never choose
To make himself free from any guilt
He has no master, he has no boss

Another one standing there
A scientist, best of her kind
She is so thoughtful, I like her
There's no one like her that you'll find

And I stand among them
The flower which is so free
They are my newest circle
With them I can be the real me...

Dhaye you have assembled quite a group of ordinary people with extra ordinary talent, gift , character and strength . They came from all walks of life. By careful consideration and experience and through trial and error, you made your pick and form your Dream Team . You're proud and delighted to be a part and inner circle of this team .

When l was a kid I have always watched Justice League . Green Lantern was my favorite character . I figured out that he was better than anybody else. Even better than Superman since he has no weakness . Superman is highly allergic to kryptonite and Green Lantern can even create that . The power of his ring has no limit in relation to what his mind can imagine . If he can imagine it . His powerful ring can produce it. Then l realized later that he too has weakness and flaws . His ring was only invincible when its fully charge . If he misplace his charger his useless and doom..
Perhaps friendships are like that . What we don't have or lack. The team and each individual God given talent and special ability make up for it . Everyone has something to bring on the table . We are only strong as our weakest link . And the bond and trust that we forge through our friends solidify and strengthen those flaws and weakened link .We don't kick out our friends when they mess up, or failed our expectations, when they loss their powers or misplaced their amulets.

Second Stanza: I see this as a person you always look up to . A big brother perhaps . Who covers your back . He could be Aquaman . And he brings you rain . Hes presence and words not only soothes but also comforts and refreshes you . Amazing qualities .

Third Stanza: You have someone in your circle of influence that is a Visionary. This bird does not have special talent, ability nor strength. Yet his close affinity with heaven and sky made him soar and fly a little higher than anybody else . He see the world from a different angle and perspective . From his vantage point and birds eye view . He perceives things and see things through à different lens. He's glad that he's accepted to be a part of this league .

Fourth stanza: Someone who is very close to your heart that gives you guidance and support . She's very protective of you and dont want you to be hurt . She's happy when your happy and sad when your blue .

Fifth stanza: You have someone in your circle that appears to be timid and shy . Sort of the Invisible Man or Woman . But far from your knowledge he or she might be the one doing and pulling all the heavy loads for you . Such as a person that interceeds for their friends in prayer . Prayer accomplish many and far greater things than all talents and special abilities combined .

Sixth stanza:You have someone that is very gifted with wits and intelligence . And not only this helps but challenges you as well .

Seventh stanza : Last but not the least, a flower stood in the midst. The flower may have came from Amazon according to legend. And this flower possess incredible beauty and strength . She's almost flawless and invincible had she been given the special ability to fly. Yet without her the league will fall apart and cease to exist. A wonderful flower indeed she is. And she formed and held the league like a mighty chain. A wonder flower ...like Wonder Woman.

Puto is a steamed product while cupcake is a baked product...so they are different in the process of making...and even in taste. LOL. Puto is for simple people...pang-mahirap ba...while cupcake is for the "bongga" and "sosyal"...pang-mayaman. LOL

I sleep early last night with a broken heart because I could not find “me” in this piece. I could not be the rain, or the bird or the angel or the faceless being or the scientist! (How could you forget meeee?! The “CUPCAKE”?) Hmp! Notwithstanding, I came here to claim that stanza number 4 refers to me (although the description does not exactly fit me hehehe). But I still claim that I am that angel! (My narcissistic tendencies usually come out when I’m agitated, give some leeway anyway you made me feel this way).
Bitterness aside (lol), this is a very sweet write dhaye. Your observations are very humbling. Mmmm..if my “animal instinct” is right, I think I knew two of these persons you mentioned (assuming that you are talking about your WC circles) but the other one is sort of hiding under a strange pseudonym. written in 5 minutes? Wow!
