GIVE ME BACK MY EYES

GIVE ME BACK MY EYES

A Chapter by Dhaye
"

I can't see...

"

"Give me back my eyes!" I shouted in horror
I want to leave the room and get out of the door
But I can't see anything, only darkness around
How can I escape this messy and hollow ground?

"Give me back my eyes! Give them to me now!"
I shouted in despair though I don't know how
If one would hear my cry, but then why I'm alone
Without my eyes to see, how can I move along?

First glance at your piece I immediately remember this song. Sorry if this might be too long.. So what eyes do you want to have ?

"Give Me Your Eyes" by Brandon Heath

Looked down from a broken sky
Traced out by the city lights
My world from a mile high
Best seat in the house tonight
Touched down on the cold black top
Hold on for the sudden stop
Breathe in the familiar shock
Of confusion , And chaos

All those people goin' somewhere
Why have I never cared?

Step out on a busy street
See a girl and our eyes meet
Does her best to smile at me
To hide what's underneath
There's a man just to her right
Black suit and a bright red tie
Too ashamed to tell his wife
He's out of work, he's buyin' time

All those people goin' somewhere
Why have I never cared?

I've been there a million times
A couple of million eyes
Just move and pass me by
I swear I never thought that I was wrong
Well I want a second glance
So give me a second chance
To see the way You've seen the people all along

Give me Your eyes for just one second
Give me Your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me Your love for humanity
Give me Your arms for the broken-hearted
The ones that are far beyond my reach
Give me Your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me Your eyes so I can see

Thank you, Sir Ency. :)
Give me back my eyes , I want to see the rainbow
Darkling hours are long , I miss the moonlit glow
I want to see beauty of mother nature in strides
Give me back love, where time splendidly glides.
Inspired by your wonderful poem...:)..................

You are welcome...Any time...:)..................
And now I have my eyes with a sadder piece of mind
Wishing I could go back where my innocence was blind
Sometimes when the sky is dark we better see the light
The greatest glow I ever saw were in the words you write

You can see...you can see better than most.

There is beauty in your despair...
