UNDENIABLE MENTALITY (Free Verse)

Just an observation from different places (specially in the workplace). No offense.

Using the strength of his claws

He grips every  part accessible

Then gradually  pulls down anyone over him

At last! They are all lying on the floor

Nobody moves

Until he, the puller, makes a mysterious grin

And he starts to climb on the walls

With a hope to escape in such hollowness

Inch by inch, he moves up

Until he feels the heaviness from below

In a moment, he’s again lying on the floor

While the newly discovered puller is dancing in joy

Nobody can escape

No one…

That's how insecurity would make someone wicked. A person with this undeniable mentality (crab mentality) won't give chance to anyone to grow or improve himself.

I loved this one Dhaye, I took it to mean that as humans we should be careful as we go up because if there is pride, then we shall surely go down. I enjoyed reading.

Or the ones left behind has those biggest pride? That they don't want others to move up and become happy so they will try to pull them down?
