CONTENTMENT (Rhyme)

A Chapter by Dhaye

My response poem to Gabrielle's "Fickle" and a reminder to myself

Ah, human! When will you be contented
With those things at hand, for you, they seem to be rejected?
Human, human, that's not why you've made for
Every little thing is great, treat each one as thing of splendor!

This is a short philosophical piece on human traits. Most of us would take for granted the things we have on hand. instead of making the best of what we have, we tend to be wishing for something else. with few lines, you were able to impart the things most of us often forget.

The most complex thing to content is the desire for something, a human trait that is hard to erase. We all feel those from time to time it is just a matter on reminding ourselves that every little thing have something to offer, have something to be thankful about. We all know life brings many unexpected surprises, we just have to open our eyes to many possibilites along the way. That's what I believed in that is why I have survive this far in life, always do keep reminding myself to be thankful despite everything dispiteful in mind. Very short and profound my pretty friend.
