Poem 18. LOVE IN THE RAINA Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)I always see them here...I gazed at the open window of my room To see the same story in the afternoon I see him standing at the front door of that home She welcomes him with heart as big as moon.
She kisses him with such sweet, cherry lips Then hugs him tight like they had never met But all the truth was everytime she sleeps He’s there beside her ‘til the time she wakes.
And when the morning comes I see them, too They kiss and hug like one should never go Even if raindrops fall, these loving duo The kiss stays longer like love that comes anew.
Oh, such a love, a kind I’ve never seen But only here in my lavish windowpane It comes like pouring sweetened miracle That makes the love stronger under the rain.
How I envy the things that I can see That love I dreamed only for you and me… © 2014 Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)Author's NoteFeatured Review
