COLORBLIND (Free Verse)

A Chapter by Dhaye
"

She's not

"

They think she never sees colors
Like a blind she touches each flower
And smells the fragrance
Then smiles with confidence
Like everything she has is in perfection

She's easy to please.

Until the day an angel comes
And make her eyes clearer and brighter
To see things differently
Like reading the heart of everything

She becomes careful.

She knows how to see colors
Which can make her paintings brighter
Or could make her picture lively
Not for them
Not for anyone
But in her own eyes only

She's not blind inside.

A beautiful poem about life. I like the way you led the reader to how she changed her view on life. Better to have wide open eyes and be able to see the colors of our world. A perfect ending to a excellent poem.

What the beauty of words nicely penned with the great dispersion of colors. This's a very true write, you've well said much through this piece. I adore this poem. Keep on!
