Poem 47. CAGED

There's nothing we can do.

 

 

No matter how I feel

No matter what is real

We never have a deal

And nothing more to seal.

 

You know all what I know

You feel what I feel, too

We tried so hard to go

But none of us can do.

 

We’re stuck in where we stand

We can’t move hand in hand

We’re like but lost commands

Both caged in our own bands.

So true and well spoken. How come we have not a deal is a good question for lovers. Everything in place , the stars are lined up ( metaphorically speaking ) , the time is ripe but you ask him how come we don't have a deal to seal...Brilliant...:)..........

Which now we couldn't seal?"

But I think your line is more apt- "how come we don't have a deal to seal".
