Short Story 3. NO RAIN

Short Story 3. NO RAIN

A Chapter by Dhaye
"

For my collection...

"I'm sorry," he said.

"You don't have to say sorry. It's not your fault," I replied. I tried hard how to control those tears. I don't want to cry in his presence.

"I made you believe that..."

"Sshh...don't mention anything. I'm okay if you're okay. That's enough for me."

I stepped closer to him and hugged him so tight for the last time.

"Arianne..."

"Goodbye, Von. Thank you  so much for being so kind to me," I said while embracing him.

I heard he sobbed, and the tears begun falling  from my eyes. No! He shouldn't see my tears! He shouldn't know something.

So I turned my back from him and started to walk away. Unlike before, there's no rain this time but only the sunbeams which made those pricks in my heart more aching.

How I wish the rain would come to wash my tears and pain away...

A sad situation in the chapter. Standing alone wishing for rain to hide the tears. Thank you for sharing the excellent chapter.

This parting was so sad yet both seem unwilling to show their emotion, I wonder why ?

Indeed, I see now !
I think that you incorporate dialogue, perfectly in a piece, unlike me, I struggle with this area, lovely writing.
