Poem 9. TELL ME HOW

Poem 9. TELL ME HOW

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

I'm not like you

"

I envy you
For smiling at all times
That means you always see
The flowers as they are all beautiful
The songs as they always have a nice tone
The day as it always gives you a good life.

Tell me how
Just tell me...

How can I smile
The way I smile before
Now that there is fear in my heart
That everything I see won't be forever?
That every flower wilts
And every song has its end
And the day  has to sleep to let the night begin?

Tell me how
Just tell me...

How can I hold the rain?

Tell me how
Just tell me...

Will it be raining forever?

I like the poem a lot. The secret to happiness is hard to find. I have a hidden bad temper. Gift from a violence father. I learn to control my temper. Hard to maintain smile all the time. I like the desire and wonder in the poem. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

A little rain must always fall before the flowers can bloom resplendent once more !

A soulful, poetic proposition !
