Poem 48. GRATITUDE

another attempt...

From that four days of floating in nowhere

He came back in this world with so much luck

His eyes opened and saw their precious smiles

But in his heart it’s not good to be back.

 

How could someone be grateful of his life

If now he feels the world don’t care no more?

How could he praise, and thank, and feel divine

Now that the things seem not like as before?

 

But after all that heart had realized

How blessed he is, why not speak once more?

The precious life he has, a second chance

To close the past and open this new door.

 

For in this world when one's that ungrateful

Won’t go on top and wouldn’t save his soul!

He’d been comatose for 4 days and felt ungrateful when he woke up...

off all the things I have been through, I always thought I was an unlucky fellow, but then again i always shove that aside and think of the good things i already have, 'na swerty parin ako' despite everything else, the world is still following a good rotation, and i am doing just good...

When I heard this person's story that he became ungrateful the moment he opened his eyes after his coma stage, I'm disappointed because I always believe he's a good person and a regular church-goer. But then when he said after few days, he was enlightened, then I said, "Thanks God, you're not really blind." Haha! I'm glad I'm a friendly person, and this one has the blessing of that friend to be made into a poem. He knows I'm collecting ideas because I told him I have no concepts now for my poems.

This is another attempt for making a sonnet. You know, this is my main goal nowadays because during that summer vacation I tried to make one by asking the help of Gab, I can't really understand how to make it. So I decided to study more about the structure of the poem. I'm waiting for some writers to check the structure of my two sonnets.

I love writing...and I'm a lover of words. I like to learn more about making poems...lalo na ito, grabeng pahirap ginawa nito sa akin. Imagine, month of May pa ako nagsimulang mag-aral about dito, and yet, I'm not confident pa rin and I need someone/some people to check the structure kasi gusto kong malaman kung tama ba talaga ang ginawa ko.

keep striving... ako wala na ako diyan, basta maka pag expressed lang ako ng mga unsorted feelings ok na ako, I like discovering things in my own way... specially art...

Hehe. Sa sobrang outspoken ko nga ng feelings ko, sumemplang ako. Hay, mabuti pa noong summer, ang saya nating lahat. Pasensya na...IDIOM 5, tanda mo pa? Nahihirapan talaga ako mag-adjust. Memorable sa akin basta about friends.
