Poem 2. IT'S DARK HERE

Poem 2. IT'S DARK HERE

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

I can't see

"

And so I turn my back
from the mirror
which tells me how
blind I was yesterday.

Only to discover that
until now I am
for I can't see anything
around me.

Is it still raining outside
or 'til here in my room
the mizzle is drowning my face?
Or is it in my heart
where I hear those drops
and in my eyes
they find a perfect path?

It is dark in here
and I can see nothing but
a fading spirit...

A sad and powerful poem. Hard when we learn. We are not so important. The great description create thoughts and vision.

I normally mute music while reading...I couldn't hear. The music and words danced flawlessly
and the words,
"Or is it in my heart
where I hear those drops
and in my eyes
they find a perfect path? "
felt like they could have come from deep inside of me...but not as well.
Loved this and stashing it in my favs

Oh this is wonderfully dark and yet it reminds me that sometimes within the darkness, a clarity pushes through
This is a place I think we can all relate to. I know I can.
