You came Like the wind that gently embraced me And made me sway and dance for a moment Then suddenly frittered me away And left me alone with a graze.
You were the wind When once I dreamed of love To be forever But showed yourself as a gale Which toughly brushed my skin And left me with a sore.
And I...
I am still the fragile flower in the field Waiting for the gale to roll in Like before Even for a moment To brush my skin And leave me even deeper wounds.
I don't care.
I don't care how many wounds And how many scars will be left on me. Just come again. Embrace me. Feel me. Sway with me Until my weakness entrench my roots And make me bite the dust.
I will wait... For the wind That once my coarse blanket.
Amazing, Dhaye! You started with a smooth flow of thought and rhythm and this stanza
"I don't care.
Just come again.
Embrace me.
Feel me.
Sway with me
Until my weakness entrench my roots
And make me bite the dust."
speaks or urgency and desperation. Then you dramatically shifted to enthralling smooth lines and you ended the poem exceptionally. I'm proud of you, my fellow Filipino. ;) Keep up the good work. :x

That's one of my favorites from my old pieces. Yesterday was my first year anniversary here in WC so I am reminiscing my old works which are memorable for me.
The romantic longing is bittersweet in this powerfully emotional write, Dh. The wind is a constant throughout your write and you used it very effectively. Splendid imagery. The presentation is so pretty too. I enjoyed this one, my friend. Lydi**
Wow! That's great, Neil This is one of my favorites so I really want this to be polished. Game!
