A Tribute to My Dearest Father

In my silence I remember

All the good things you have done

All the good words you have said

All those dreams you’ve carried out.

 

In my silence I have words

Words of thanks I want to say

How I’m grateful having you

As my hero, oh my father.

 

In my silence I shall pray

That the Lord will always grant

A peaceful mind, healthy physique

And a calm heart in each time.

 

In my silence, I am me

I’m your daughter who loves you

I’m not vocal, I’m not showy

But all the time I’m here for you.
