Poem 21. FRIENDLY LOVE' S CHAIN REACTIONS

Just a contest piece

I told you, I am friendly

I am friendly to everyone

To everyone who's going to love me

To love me like a simple one.

 

A simple one who makes you laugh

Makes you laugh at my simple jest

My simple jest to lessen setbacks

Setbacks which can make you upset.

 

Upset you not with nonsense questions

Questions which should not be taken

Taken just like in gossip columns

Columns of those who spoil one’s name.

 

Name it and I will tell you stories

Stories which can make you smile

Smile at me like morning angel

Angel who came to make you mine.

 

Mine. Yes, you’re mine as my respected

Respected friend who cares for me

For me that care should not be shaded

With malice of those dirty psyche.

a great offering for friendship...

though the 4th and last stanza set off as a lover - you know 'mine' is a big word for more than friends... maybe i see this a friendship goes beyond friends... LOL... joking here

With malice of those dirty psyche." ~ but then i find it will always there in the shadows lurking, for no love is perfect - it matters on how you handle things carefully that it will not go out of hand... You know love is understanding...

Thanks, Pax. I wrote it a day before the opening of this school year so perhaps, I just don't have enough time to find more apt words so that it would not appear something with "shadow' for other readers like you. Lol.But anyway, thanks for that constructive comment, at least I know now that it is confusing. How can I fix that today? I'm busy making my lesson plans. Maybe next time.
