CHAPTER IV. HIS MADNESS

CHAPTER IV. HIS MADNESS

A Chapter by Dhaye

Her mind went back to when she heard again the loud voice of her uncle Timo. He was almost shouting at the top of his lungs. She saw her mother trembling near the door and it seems she wanted to go out, perhaps to calm things down. I could see she’s really worried on our family’s safety.

“No!” Alyssa said to her. She was afraid. “No, Mother. Let’s just sit and wait here, please. It’s too dangerous outside. Uncle Timo is drunk. He’s mad and not in his usual self.”

Her mother tried to keep herself calm, but they heard her father’s voice like a patient who’s suffering from a serious pain.

“A-Armando!” Her mother heads out of the house to see. Alyssa had no choice but to follow her mother out.

She runs out and shocked to see her husband lying on the ground and saw some blood from his lips. Alyssa was shocked as well and went on to hug her father.

“W-What happened?” her mother’s voice was shaking, almost crying.

“Timo was not in his good mind. He’s forcing us to leave this place. But everybody knows this was given to me by his father.”

“And then what happened to you,” she said while wiping the fresh blood n his face.

“He punched me. But after he saw me lying on the ground, he shook his head and then run away. He will come back, Sita. At least for now.”

Sita embraced Armando. “Yes. I know he’s a good person. He usually doesn’t act this way. Perhaps he only did that because he’s under the influence of the alcohol and too many problems all at once. I have heard he had lost all his properties, sold them out. Now his coming back at us to take back what’s his. But everybody knows you own this land, this house for it was given to us by your uncle. I hope he realized it now.”

A bad situation in this chapter. It is terrible when family fight. I like the wisdom of Armando. Sort of a trick to get rid of the drunk brother. Thank you for sharing the excellent chapter.
