CHAPTER III. THE VERY RUSH HOURA Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)Every step I make was accompanied by more or less ten heartbeats as I can hear it.I am standing at the façade of a ten-story building. Morales Advertising, Inc. - the letters seems so proud to present the company of my first client. Every step I make was accompanied by more or less ten heartbeats as I can hear it. Oh, no. I am afraid! My appointment with Mr. Morales is 8:20 am, and it’s now 8:10 am. I blame myself for everything that happened. I blame myself for I overslept in having a good dream. If only I didn't overslept, perhaps I won’t have that beautiful dream which has consumed my time. Or if only I didn’t take a bath for three minutes so that I have enough time to find the office of this client on the 7th floor. “My God! Seventh floor? I have to take the elevator. Elevator, where are you…?” I whisper to myself while searching for the door of the elevator. If only Marian is here with me in this situation, perhaps she’ll laugh so loud while taking some pictures of me. Maybe I am again her subject in her foolish photography hobby. Maybe we will both laugh while teasing me about my nonsense painting activities. © 2013 Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)Featured Review
