Secrets To The Question

Secrets To The Question

A Poem by harley98

Day after day,
Night after night,
Everyone asks the same questions,

"Are you okay?"
"What's wrong?"

Day after day,
Night after night,
I give the same answers,

"I'm fine."
"No need to talk."

But on the inside, I'm thinking,
If only you knew,
If only you could be inside my mind right now,
I keep telling myself,
I'm sick,
I'm tied.
I'm sick and tired of the pointless drama.
I'm just sick and tired of everything.
But, not only am I sick and tired of it,
I'm done with it,
I'm done with the lies.
I'm done with the rumors.
I'm done being called names.
And I'm done being bullshitted.
But mostly, I'm done being hurt.
Basically, I'm done being me.

Family is suppose to support you,
Not tear you down and break you.
Family is suppose to love you for who you are.

Friends are suppose to support you in your decisons,
Not bash you,
Not tear you down.
