For years I wondered,

I thought,

Where are you?

Why did you leave me?

For years,

You never called me,

You never saw me,

No contact, whatsoever.

I grew up without you.

I contacted you.

You said you wanted to be in my life.

And for awhile, I believed it.

Your true colors showed.

You lied to me.

You hurt me.

You betrayed me.

But today,

I don't wonder where you are,

Cause I already know.

Today,

I wonder why?

Why don't you want anything to do with me?

Why did you hurt me the way you did?
