The next day the five friends met in Hallie’s front yard. They all brought their instruments, except Erik he plays the drums, so yeah.  They all sat around Hallie’s tree stump. “Hmmm” Hallie thought. Austin asked “You ok Hal?” Hallie stopped thinking and looked at Austin “Oh yea, I was just thinking. We should take it up a notch. Like play on the steps under the Arch, downtown.” Michael doesn’t talk much but usually when he does its something important “Hallie?”

“Yea Michael?”

“That’s a really good idea!”

“Thanks Michael”

Michael nodded. Austin clapped his hands together “Ok Arch it is!” the 5 friends walked down a trail they had found as kids. It was an easy route to go to downtown. When they got down there they all sat down in the middle of the steps. Hallie lead she played “Falling inside the Black” by Skillet. The other 4 fallowed along nicely. When they had finished they sat there and took a rest. They looked in the guitar case they had left open. “1,2,4,5. 120 divided by 5 equals..” Hallie thought she was the best in math “Guys, we each get 24 dollars!!” they were all so excited. A women in a dark gray suit and her son who looked familiar walked up and asked “you guys are good!” they dropped 10 dollars in the case “What’s your names?” they went one by one saying their name “I’m Hallie I play lead guitar” “I’m Michael I play rhythm guitar” “I’m Austin I sing” “I’m Josh I play bass” “I’m Erik and I play drums” “no no what’s your band name” they five friends looked at each other “ I don’t know” Austin said slowly. When they finished they went home to Hallie’s tree stumps “so” Josh said “what’s our band name?”
