Friend, Fame, Betrayal Chapter 2A Chapter by halliei was listening to Forsaken by skillet while writing this. sorry it's soo long!Friends,
Fame, Betrayal Austin ran his fingers through
his bleach blonde hair and lay back down on the hospital bed. Michael, Eric,
Josh, and Hallie crowded the bed. They all had worried looks on their faces.
Austin looked into Hallie’s chocolate brown eyes and asked “What happened?”
Hallie met eyes with Josh, then Michael, and then Eric and they all said at the
same time “You ran to school again.” Austin said “Oh. I got to stop that
ha-ha.” When Austin left the
hospital he and his friends walked home. They are all neighbors. Hallie played
guitar and sings, Eric played drums, Josh played bass, Michael also played
guitar, and Austin sang. None of them knew this about each other yet. Hallie
walked in the door of her home and went into the basement. She scanned the wall
of guitars and picked up a black Fender Stratocaster, got her Fender amp and
went outside. She plugged her amp into the outlet by the tree stump. Hallie
plugged her guitar into the amp and played “Dead Inside” by Skillet. Austin
heard something coming from Hallie’s place. He ran outside to see Hallie
playing her guitar. He had recognized that tune, the rhythm-SKILLET!!! He walked
over to Hallie’s. Austin sang while Hallie played her guitar. Sure enough Eric
heard it to and ran out with his sticks and hit the ground and the stump next
to him. Josh ran out with his Bass and played with. Last but not least Michael
ran out with his blue stained Ibanez and played along. They all were in
Harmony. A man with a light blue shirt and sweatpants came up and dropped five
dollars on the ground for the group. They all smiled but kept playing. When
they finished they all gave each other smiles. Then, everyone stopped-They were
good!! After a long silence Austin said “Guys, let’s start a band” everyone
nodded at the awesome idea. Thus began their band. © 2011 hallie |
