Angel In Waiting

Angel In Waiting

A Poem by H.D.Logan
"

A poem to my brother who passed away two years ago.

"
I can't message you when things get bad.
I can no longer turn to you when I'm feeling sad.
It's an uphill battle of trying to move on.
How can that happen when you've been there so long.
You helped me through so much, told me what was right and what was wrong.
Through all the bad things, you helped me move on.
It's supposed to get easier, that's what they say.
But they didn't feel the pain I felt when you got taken away.
Away from us, away from home.
Now I sit in my room, crying alone.
Remembering everything we've been through.
How when I needed a friend, I'd turn to you.
Should I be happy, I'm debating.
Forever you'll be, my Angel In Waiting.
