When Buttons Get Pushed

When Buttons Get Pushed

A Poem by bethtom

PISSED. ANNOYED. ALMOST. ERUPTING.
Every single bit of thing that’s happening
Brings the monster that has long been sleeping
Deep in the darkest pit of my being.

Days and months the flicker of anger
Been suppressed that for so long keeps to linger
So much so that myself have become a stranger
To this rage I succumb  to suffer.

Leash me, for I don’t know how long
To my sanity I can depend on.
Wait... wait till you cut he last string
Holding the wickedness you see now reeking.

C’mon! Push that last button once more.
I couldn’t wait till you I devour;
As sure as I am , I will break your core
Till you are useful no more.
