Reflections

A Poem by HB

The sudden, multi-catalystic visions
of
Your wishing.

All you asked for
All you wanted
All you craved.

I am it.
I am that.
I am this.

You do not like my form
And
You do not like my face.

Maybe you should have vacationed from the narcissistic visions
Dangling dangerous in your bathroom,
Vicariously burning through
Your youthful, pale facade.

All that incandescent lighting made me sallow.
And you blame it all on ME not getting YOU ?
My dear and silly, so unpleasant little fellow,
I am exactly what you wished for.
I am Truth.

Oooh, I love the ending to this, potent love! And that is all we can be at times, truth is everything! xx

@ OT: Thanks! I totally missed the 'you're' / 'your' bit. I'm embarrassed, I don't usually make mistakes like that! ^.^

Thank you migraines and extremely late nights....

I like it! it really takes off in the last 2 stanzas, I think the first few lack the power and tone of the last two, simpler - but the last 2 pick it up - just change "you're" to "your" in the first one!
