The Age Gap

The Age Gap

A Poem by Lacey
"

It's a agree to disagree thing age difference or no age difference.

"
She's 18
He's 39
The big age gap
Was quite a surprise

No one agrees with it
But it's not their choice
They choose each other
And put others aside

They take care of one another
As they fall in love
They put themselves before everyone else

They put each other's differences aside
as one slowly falls
And the other is there to catch her

No matter what she chose him
They sit down for some coffee with her dad
They chit chat about the drama

Woops that slipped out
He don't care she got no thighs
She keeps her legs closed
But opened for just that one guy

It just so happens that the one guy is him
They let their lips brush up against one another's
And begin to kiss

They knew that when it came to being adults
It's only about them
And their love story
So that proves that AGE is just a number
