The Grief
By: Hazel Grace

Five weeks alone
Two lost withing two of those weeks
Wish things didn't go south
Wish they were here

Can you tell I'm grieving yet
There's a line between us

Unfinished work

Gee
Tis hard when we lose loved ones, the heartache though does ease with the passing of time although the " missing" doesn't.
Your poem does a good job of expressing your feelings.
Good morning Lacey

Wish they were here

Sadly it takes time to come to terms with loss of any kind, particularly if the loss is a death. Your poem expresses your grief.

My condolences.
