Now we’re BackA Chapter by J. ViandsSwing at me I’ll stand tall turn around and roar Just like a little boy Watch you pout in the corner like a little girl Meanwhile recalling promises from just a few days before We called an end to this war Honestly wishing we could go back to years before Years when we still thought there was a point Now we’re back We’ll fall together hand in hand Taking part in each other’s insane games Ain’t it a shame? What became of you when I was gone is vague For some reason I can’t say you’re caught in the crossfire Get out of the way I guess it’s just the games we play I’ll fiddle with this blade Lock the bedroom behind it’ll keep you safe Call my name as I run away Hold me in your embrace as we say we won’t do it again Now we’re back We’ll fall together hand in hand Taking part in each other’s insane games Ain’t it a shame? How did love leave us in such a miserable state? Look at this place mimicking the life we live As I got my hand on your waist whispering we won’t do this again God why do we keep doing it anyway Didn’t we do a good job saving each other’s lives? With lust and drugs Playing house like big kids Forgiving each other’s ignorance
How many times did we have to utter the words I can’t put up with this? Before it blew up into what it did You’re stuck in my dreams and it makes me sick To think we did this s**t © 2012 J. Viands |
