Matter of time

Matter of time

A Chapter by J. Viands

Lord knows I ain’t got no time

But still my feet fall

Just one at a time

Still I live in a lie

It just comes with the times

I wish the winter was gone

Guess it’s just a matter of time

The past few years I’ve been growing colder

But I swear if someone dies just one more time

It will just be a matter of time!

If you lie, if you cry, if you run and hide

I’ll march in my own God damn line

My own rhythm and rhyme

I’ll ask you just one more time

Why are your transgressions fine, and how is there truth in your lies

Can’t you take it in stride?

Walk in a line

Can you stop getting lucky and just start to try
