Self Destructing

Self Destructing

A Chapter by J. Viands

What happens when everything becomes less compelling?

Feeling forever subject to vicarious living

Growing more comfortable with the worlds suffering

If not then the darkness is where I’m dwelling

Is there no median?

It feels like I’m suffocating

Like the world is closing in around me

The real me is self destructing

Yet everyone is standing around watching

Well knowing

I posses the utmost understanding

Of the worlds crumbling

Is everyone running from what they can’t face?

So have a taste of the darkness in this place

After words tell me you can turn on fate

Head for the hills alone and afraid

Claiming you can live through this
