I wonder

Just wondering

I wonder
I wonder
what amount of precipitation
in rains

I wonder
how vast should it gather
in waters

I wonder
with what electrifying speed
must it move
in flood

to erode me away
drowning me off this memoir
this giant of sad news

I still wonder when
sucking leeches drop off
when I stop waking
to a muse of deprived peace

I may no longer wonder
as I’m really tired
I’m very weak

kind of how I feel tonight...those leeches stick...the feeling of being drained.
poems drop off of me....
do I erode with them or gain new life.
