dim raysA Poem by hayzed
Though signals flash dim rays,
Numb spirit hears dull-witted speech Eye balls roll in strong weakness Prophecy speaks its soft voice yelling For me to yield to a splendid admonition But I linger in hope for impossible Of deactivation in the precarious band, Circle of lies and diamond infidelity. As the storm grows stronger, I need to shudder not, holding vehemently to my salient pledge of servitude to this sickling correlation, not minding the differing variances heavens have bestowed on us. I long for a day with no sun, without flying birds of the sky in their race, when lazy sleep takes mighty eyes for granted. I've been blindfolded by a fallacious feeling, by a meretricious fantasy and a nudging infatuation. But alas, not the impregnated firmament nor the growing storm, nor the resultant scenario of both, will ever erode the irredeemable indebtedness of my indefatigable submission, whether this union loses its richness or its striking softness and brightness But why do you wish me peril when I post no evil? © 2014 hayzed |
