TRAITOR AT LASTA Poem by hayzedA friend i once had. and all that he didTraitor at last. Against all odds, on this mother earth A friendship existed, a promising birth The cordiality all along survived the threat Until at the point, where sun had to set At its scalding death, in superficial depth All tolerance usurped even its precious breathe
Hit my head, I won’t bleed nor die, he said But it was a charge that must be paid The altruistic trust was simply betrayed At the altar of egocentricity, there it was laid Waiting to be named whatever it craved No one knew with this, fate could’ve paid
Dispatch your filthy excuses, no one is astounded In all your gazes it’s written and grounded No cognizance of where but here you’re landed Looking so deprived and so much stranded Love showered you just as you demanded Stratagem is just what you are branded
All blame doesn’t crawl up on you, what for? She deserved what you did her, no honor The endeavor can’t be celebrated nor the valor Excellence in the field, victory at the corridor Yet no accolade is sung of Mr. Gladiator Self control failed you, you’re a traitor © 2013 hayzed |
