A Bisexual Moment

A Bisexual Moment

A Poem by Hayley

A Bisexual Moment
They come and go,
the twist of a sleeve
I look at the clock
I see a beige face
with hair like gold
my heart stops for a moment
I feel 100 years old.
Her eyes are lasers,
they twist me up in ropes
I'm down on my knees
holding my breath
waiting to speak
but my words won't come out
because I'm
thunderstruck
and I'm
scared as f**k
because never ever
has a woman looked at me
and made my heart beat
too quick.
And next to her
is a man with the taste
of rainbows and
martian delicacies
with eyes like oceans
and a sunshine smile.
A bisexual moment
where my breath freezes
my fingers fall off
no pleasure tonight
in the warmth,
the embrace of my bed
will not please me
tonight,
tonight
I sleep alone
