Loneliness is memories
with no remaining emotion.
When you're the only boat
in the middle of the ocean.

Don't want to breathe,
don't want to see.
Don't want to feel the wind,
or climb the tree.

Light the way towards a new day,
but the bulb burns out
and the rain won't quit.

Loneliness is a quiet killer,
it invades your brain
an emotional cancer.
And when you think the torture is over,
they abandon you for something better.
