 Teen Years

so many heartbreaks

wonderful relationships until they fall apart

so many memories

awful teachers

staying up crying all night

laughing till you cry

jumbled emotions 

confusing times

feeling like no one cares

hanging out with friends

losing the best of those friends

the silly fights

with all this you just have to fight through it

everything will be fine

teen years are the best and the worst time of your life

love it, hate it, live it

it will all end eventually

Yes, I totally see what you're talking about... I am like, living in your poem. I hate it and I love it, but I don't want it to go away, even though it is very emotional. I noticed that 25% of my poems are about heartbreak. Well, one in particular. Thanks for writing a poem with such incredible insight. I definitely enjoyed reading this. A bit about braces would have been humorous, but it might have lightened the mood a bit too much... Nevertheless, wonderful poem! No changes needed!

Wow this describes teenage years perfectly. Reading this it was like I was reliving it all. Remembering the nights I spent crying in my room andthe times I spent laughing so hard with my friends I couldn't breathe. You capture that all and I especially love the ending:
"teen years are the best and the worst time of your life
love it, hate it, live it
it will all end eventually"
This statement is so unbelievably true and sometimes I wish I could go back to those times. Growing up is not fun. LOL. Great piece thanks for sharing.
