Revalation From the LostA Poem by Ambassidor in ChainsI think I finally know, I finally, actually understand. Why do we bask in our pain from loss? Because it's the last we'll ever get.
We sit in the pain, Bathing in its anguish, Praying for it to stay.
We wish never to laugh, Never to be happy and to never feel good. All because we wish to hold on to the remnant of what we've lost.
I was given no choice, I had to extinguish my love. My heart aches knowing I can never again see her face, I hurt and I cry, Because she can't know my reasons.
I just don't want her being as hurt as I. © 2008 Ambassidor in ChainsReviews
