The Hopeless RomanticA Poem by Ambassidor in ChainsI know I haven't read much of your guys' stuff. But I'm getting to it. I just hope all of you can be kind enough to take a look! She's out of my league, Yet I'm encumbered with her every word, Enstilled with an unnamed emotion Only to be described as awed.
Her beauty emanates, Yet I appear dull in comparison to her, An uneven gradient, Invading my mind telling me I'm nothing.
She has wealth beyond money, Yet I am revealed as worthess, Polar opposites? Or am I just unworthy?
Her name sings the melody of angels, Yet mine is sour to the lips, Enthrolled in the song of her name, Yeilding my every move.
Hopelessly I search, Finding the perfect one, Only to once again, be The Hopeless Romantic. © 2008 Ambassidor in ChainsAuthor's Note

I'm sixteen, I love writing poetry, and I'm bit of a hopeless romantic. I enjoy spending my time with the arts, and.. more..Writing
