Title: My dream

What is my dream?  Well, I guess I would just want a secluded life from everyone. Ah, I do not mean in the wilderness, where there are only verdant green ranges and the wildlife. Although I must admit, I do enjoy the fresh air. However, I can`t imagine a day without my comfortable bed, along with my soft and warm blanket and fluffy pillows. Anyways, what I mean is that I want a secluded life in a house by myself. That way, I won`t hurt anyone, nor will anyone hurt me. Also, that way, I would be able to live peacefully, and not have to see everyone selfish behaviour anymore…

After all, the world lives by the rule “survival of the fittest”. In other words, only focus on yourself if you want to survive, or succeed. Isn`t that why youths always say I need to do my homework if asked to do the dishes. Simply, it is within our human nature to not extend our hands to others. And as a result, we will always try to get out of the notion of helping people. Isn`t that just screwed up? Well, the world was screwed up from the start. We live in a system of ‘price’. Meaning that we live in a world where someone has to lose something for someone to gain something. For rich celebrities to exist, there has to be thousands-or maybe even millions of people living in poverty. Yet we still adore these celebrities. And if that wasn`t bad enough, we want to invade their privacy and find out what they normally do. At the end of the day, human selfishness knows no bound. We simply hurt each other for existing. Thus, I believe the way to minimise all these bane, is to build a wall from others. And thus, my dream is too live peacefully by myself.

“Looks like I got an extreme introvert in my class”, muttered the young teacher…

Rein woke up with a stifled yawn. He brushed his teeth, and went to the kitchen for a glass of water. As always, there was many dishes that had to be done in the kitchen. “Better get started”, said Rein monotonously, as he knew that the dishes wouldn`t move by themselves nor by anyone in his family…

i cant even tell you how much this poem made me agree with it,
it was like reading my mind,
the world is messed up i agree,
but one thing iam not sure of,you say that we only care for our selfs right?
so if you tried to run away from this world and build a wall would't that mean you only care for yourself
because your not helping others and only protecting onesef,

Thanks so much for your positive review. It really makes me happy to know someone enjoyed what I wrote. I really like and admire how you think so much :).
Anyways, just to share, i actually wanted to write a story with this as the intro. The story was supposed to be about a teenager, who due to many reasons find reality very harsh. And the reason why i wrote that he wanted to run away from the world was to show his immaturity as a young teen.
Also, it is to show that , maybe, humans are selfish by nature and sometimes we don`t even realise that we are being selfish.
Additionally, Rein believes that all we do is bring pain to other people. So, perhaps isolating himself from the world, will allow him to not hurt others as much as interacting with them. Furthermore, Rein believes that isolating himself, will prevent people form mourning over him when he passes away.
If your curious about the title, the title is called A failure because of two reason. One, I eventually realized that not many people will like this kind of story. And two, because no matter how much Rein thinks he is not selfish by isolating himself, it is undeniable that he is thinking about himself. Thus his plan is "A failure"...
Sorry, if my reasons were not satiable to you. I understand that i have many short coming in my writings. And i will try to improve...
p.s. Just wanted to say that i feel really happy to know someone enjoyed my work...
I have a dream that one day, hopefully, i will be able to write a book that is enjoyable to everyone.

well i like anyone that can think,i just often look at everything both ways,
but yeah turn this into a book sounds like a good idea,
so instead of man vs monster or man vs man it will be more about man vs self,
so most fights will be in his head,
and no maybe most might not like it,but you dont know till you try RIGHT,
anyway you said your dream is too write a book everyone will enjoy,i saygood luck
because not everyone will like it but with good work most well.
