Woodsgirl

Woodsgirl

A Poem by Jo Zapata

Woodsgirl

She moves through deep forest

black smells in her nose.

Moon-shine playing heart strings,

leaves rubbing her toes.

She teases the edges

of the leaves and the flowers.

delighting how touch

makes them dance in their bowers.
