Man on the Verge

Man on the Verge

A Poem by Solitude
"

This is a poem I wrote when I was given a prompt to write a poem in a series of questions. I hope you like it!

"
Why do you weep, sir?
Why do you cry?
Why do your eyes droop?
Why shout to the sky?

Why do you sob, sir?
Why do you mourn?
Why can't you smile once?
Why so forlorn?

Why do you curse, sir?
Why do you mope?
Why do you feel crushed?
Why can't you hope?

Why do you fear, sir?
Why do you hide?
Why do you cower?
Why break your stride?

Why do you grieve, sir?
Why feel so bad?
This life's made for living,
Don't miss what you had.

About
I love to write about everything; my sword, my life, my friends, my problems, pretty much anything that first comes to mind. I'd love to say that I was born with a pen and a book in my hand, though t.. more..
