My Shell

My Shell

A Poem by Solitude
"

Not much to be said.

"

My Shell

Alone.
Solitary.
One single light,
In a single dark room.
I should have been in
the herd of horses,
but I gallop alone.

A small room.
Dark, uninviting.
My shell.
Lonesome.
Tired of the people covered
in thick makeup, trying to
hide what is really there.

Alone.  Solitary.  Lonelsome.
Adjectives, draped across,
the branches of my weeping willow.
Describing my shell, not my soul.
As on a willow tree,
sadness, in the form of tears
falling from the branches,

hiding myself

I love it, it's totally amazing, you can feel the emotion behind the words, I have nosuggestions for this piece it's prefect just the way it is, don't you dare change one tihng about it.

This one I like a lot because in its short line of short words you bring the emotion and point across quite well.

'Adjectives, draped across,
the branches of my weeping willow.'
fantastic
but you should let yourself shine, dont be afraid of shitheads at school
although that may be easier said being a guy rather than a girl
i guess i dont know you well enough to go into anything much further, but dont be afraid of rejection. it only means theyre not good enough to be your friend, not the other way around
keep writing
