One Day

i wonder

if people in the future

will look back on us

and laugh at at how

stupid people are now

or more precisely

hang their heads in shame

at how we look at each other

as different

when we’re all the same

we’re all people

no matter

who you like

what you look like

where you’re from

what you believe in

how much you know

you’re still just a person

all that should set others apart from the others

are your actions

nothing else

that's the only thing that sets you apart from me

because at the end of the day

we’re all just people
