Ocean of a Trillion Tears

Ocean of a Trillion Tears

A Poem by Hawaiian_fire

As I bathe in the Moon's reflection

gossamer slivers of blue,

Ocean of a trillion tears from a million years

I offered another for you.

I dried myself with the blanket of stars

while I dug my tomb in the sand

I cried the pain of

a thousand heartbreaks

so loud, it shook the land.

Let the waves carry my soul!

The November winds, my song,

Send my heart across the sea

to the love where I belong.

I adore this, it's truly so, so beautiful. The pain and heartbreak are extremely raw and palpable and the title is very fitting. The poem you wrote is very relatable. The rhyming is great too, and the imagery is gorgeous. All in all, a grand poem I very much felt and enjoyed!
