Through the eyes of a child

Through the eyes of a child

A Poem by M'Fun Keap
"

Dedicated to the millions lost and torn apart through war, violence and terrorism. Keep the Faith alive!

"

Through the eyes of a child

The world is far from good

Through the eyes of a child

The world is so cruel

Our parents have lost all sense of humanity

And all they believe in is empty vanity

They now trot around in pride and arrogance

Lost any iota of innocence

They treat my brother as vermin

They rape my sister and toss her by the bin

They throw me in a prison courtyard

And say "It’s not safe outside!"

They turn our pets into clothes

And have shaved our hair for their rugs

They have lost their imagination

And our now driven by Delusive Trepidation

They have made our play-field a battlefield

And have turned our toys into Weapons of Destruction

They have forgotten the use of their hearts and eyes

And have become Walking Zombies

They call my father a traitor

Yet praise my Uncle as a savior

They call my aunt a w***e

And my mother sits as prosecutor

Why does this insanity continue?

Why do we constantly torture love?

What have we done to ourselves?

What have we wrought upon ourselves?

We throw stones and curse God like HE is the traitor

And blame him for all injustice

Yet he sits and weeps from a distance

Cause we've put up a wall of resistance
