Got Pacifism?

Got Pacifism?

A Poem by Chris

I don't even care,

I won't even dare,

This fight was never fair.

So into the distance I will stare,

Looking for a solution,

Looking for the conclusion,

One to end our violent revolution.

Not just an illusion,

More like a remedy,

One that will be the end of me,

It's the only solution I see

For I know freedom is never free.

So down this dark road I'll stroll.

As my wounds begin to take their toll,

I will push until I meet my goal,

For in this plan it is my role.

I will be hated for it,

But my boundary I have hit,

So they can throw their fit,

I no longer give a s**t.

This is just a small part,

Of someone that I should've stopped at the start,

But I listened to my heart,

At least I know my decision wasn't smart.

This was something I could really relate too all to well. You captured this moment in time with such great emotion and trigger thought invoking. It's very difficult to keep a realationship for too long isn't it? When one has scares so deep one believes they may never heal. Always taking responsibility, always taking the blame whether it is ours to take or not it is just our way. I love this piece.
