Old FriendsA Poem by ChrisFive minutes thrown together. We will not stand for your cause. We will not follow your laws. We are to be free, To be what we want to be. Hear our voices as we cry, We will not listen for we'd rather die. We are ourselves and no one else, We no longer hear your dreaded yelps. So give it up and get out, go right ahead and pout. Your tears mean nothing, Your lies make our ears sting. Forever shall your cries fall on deaf ears. Forever shall you be left to drown in your tears. We have grown. Our lives we own. We want to mold our futures. Walk away from a past covered in sutures. Don't expect us to look back, Sympathy for evil is what we lack. You said that we were in this together, We now know better. You were in it for the glory, just so you had another story, a way to make you look good, while you betrayed us where we stood. Never speak to us again. For this is no longer your domain. Come back and we'll make you pay. Hope you have a good day. You fool. You tool.
