PrayerA Poem by ChrisYet another experiment!I sit here in the after-winter cold no warmth in my chest for me to hold. For I am unable to feel without my heart the one you stole the day we were torn apart. As the days and weeks pass me by I look to the sky and pray. Please give me just one more hour, just a pinch of your infinite power, so that I can see her face but once more Before i breathe my last and die at your door. I ask though it is your choice to decide whether I am to see her or be at your side. You have nothing to lose or gain I just want to ease her pain. To tell her that I am always here, that she has nothing to fear. © 2011 ChrisAuthor's Note
