Future

Future

A Poem by Chris

If only I knew

What I wanted to do

This life leaves the mind confused

While leaving the body bruised

I sit in my constant wonder

As my future is torn asunder

For some the future appears hollow

Though we all have a path to follow

So do not say we gave up

Our minds it would corrupt

So please allow the mystery to last

For some still look towards the past

For the future is quite unclear

As long as the past is still here
