Fighting For Fate

Fighting For Fate

A Poem by Chris
"

I was in 9th grade. The project was, write a poem in the form of your choosing based on a moment in your life. This was what I handed in.

"
I shalt never forgive your sick sin.
My life has become the fuel for hate,
And you now start to see it begin.
It was your deed that has altered my fate.

My actions will finish what you started.
You know for a fact that I shall survive.
It is your fault that my old hopes had bled,
And yet you are the reason I'm alive.

Without any warning I shall gain revenge.
You have started this never ending fight,
And its my father that I will avenge.
So you shall feel wrath for I see it right

Now revenge starts to have its new age.
So please view the hate as it is rage.

Hate and violence is like a runaway train. Can't be stop easily. I like the feel and emotion in this poem. Each of us have demons to fight. I like the last lines. Sometime hate and violence just create more people on the wrong road. A excellent poem.
