A Cool WindA Poem by Travis LawrenceA cool wind may be short, stormy showers, or only the tall gray clouds and shade, but this late- Spring soothing swiftly licks my May white skin too soft and cool for warmth in this light blue Kansas weather. So small in sunbeams from solar edges, we have no reasons, only bonding existence, but we are, and we do, enough to make creation an excuse enough to live, even if most artists are ungrateful. Splash an ore like blue dot on black canvass, open space scattered by starry light and physics in celestial form surrounds our own and we should be amazed, a continuous state of awe full wonder and aurora veneration. I glide on ease and peace under quiet trees, fortune, with golden symptoms of blushing conversation, pleased by the angst too fervently, I look and see these human sights through burning human eyes, born to exist with fevers like this. © 2010 Travis LawrenceReviews
